This tutorial provides step-by-step instructions for setting-up a CPSQ session in the Cambridge English Test Portal.

on first log in, you will be prompted to change your password.

Click Continue

Click Sessions

Select the session group (like a folder) you want to add your session to. Usually a session group will cover a year. ATS will have set this up for you and provided you with the name.
Click OK

You can use the grey box at the top to search for a venue, or select from the table by clicking on the "select" box. If it is a take-at-home session, use the "at home". If at your institution, use the centre venue.
Click OK

Find the session you have just created. The name will be the same as the session group, and it will have no candidates yet. Click on the name.

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Edit

Click on Name and change it to something memorable. We recommend identifying the group being tested and the date the session starts, for example.

Change the start date and time to when you want the session to start (it will already show the session group dates). You can use the calendar icon for this. NB a session's dates must be entirely within the session group dates.

Do the same with the end date.

Click Save

Click Back

Find your new session again. If you changed the start date to be in the future, click Upcoming Sessions to find it.

If you need to change any details, click on the name again.

You need to select the fields to match the spreadsheet you are importing. The columns must match the order shown here (so log in first, then password if you choose it etc). Select the fields you want to import. NB it must be a CSV file.
The yellow box shows you the order the columns need to be in on your spreadsheet. Amend your spreadsheet if necessary. Leave file format as comma separated. Click Choose File and choose your file from the file system pop-up.

To prepare for the session, click on the number of candidates. It should match the number you just uploaded.

Your list of candidates and the details uploaded should be in the table. If you are running sessions in centre and want to print individual day sheets with the log in details, Click Please select

Select Print Daysheets to download a file with a page per candidate. you can then print the file and hand them out on the test day.

Click Submit to run the report.

If you need to give extra time to a candidate, you can do this here too. It should only apply to TSA, the CPSQ test is already set for a long test window.

Remember to select your candidates.

Click Submit

You need to put the FULL time, not just the additional time, in minutes.
