Information for BMAT September candidates who wish to cancel their registration


If you recently booked a place for the BMAT September session via the Cambridge English test portal, you can cancel your test booking through that same portal. If you find you are unable to cancel via the portal, please use the form below.


  • If you cancel up to and including 25 August, you are entitled to a full refund.
  • If you cancel after this up to the day before the test (8 September), you will receive a 25% refund.*
  • If you cancel on the test day, we will require independent evidence confirming that you were not able to attend the test e.g. a doctor’s letter, before we can provide a 25% refund.
  • If you fail to show without cancelling, you will not receive a refund.


Once your cancellation request has been processed you will receive an email confirming the outcome. Please note that if a refund is made it could take up to 21 days for the refund to reach your account. Some banks/credit card providers may take longer so please check with them if you are concerned.


*Your consumer rights will not be affected.


If you have booked for the November test, you will need to cancel your booking via the centre who booked you for the test. Please contact them directly, do not use this form.
