BMAT September 2017: Information for candidates with special requirements

Helpdesk Training Article

What do I do if I need access arrangements?

Access Arrangements are available if you have a disability or special requirement, and are entitled to support for other exams.

You will need to request any Access Arrangements when booking the test online. Please see the BMAT September Dates and costs page for Access Arrangements requests deadlines.

We will ask for supporting evidence (this will usually be the same evidence you provide for Access Arrangements in your other exams). If you are unable to provide evidence to support your access arrangement request (due to the evidence being held by your school which is closed for the summer holidays), you are permitted to provide the evidence at a later date (this must be as soon as is possible and no later than the results release date).

We will advise you by email if the Access Arrangement you have requested is granted. If it is granted, your test centre will be advised by us directly.

You must take the evidence supporting your Access Arrangement with you on the day of the test. If you have not requested the Access Arrangement at the time of booking and had it granted, it cannot be provided on the test day.

For more information about Access Arrangements, please visit our Useful documents section.
