This article is for candidates who feel that their performances was affected on the day of the test
If you think something might have affected your performance during your test, such as temporary illness/injury or problems with the administration of the test, you can apply for special consideration.
Cambridge Assessment Admissions Testing will consider the circumstances and may, at our discretion, advise the institution(s) of the severity of the Special Consideration. The decision to take the Special Consideration into account or not is at the discretion of the institution(s). No adjustment will be made to the your results.
*Please note, we are only able to pass on special consideration notifications to the universities that officially accept results from the exams.
Submitting a request for special consideration
The deadline for submitting Special Consideration requests is 5 working days from the exam date.
It is not possible to submit the form before the test date.
Candidates who take the BMAT exam on 16 February, must submit the form by 17:00 UK time on Friday, 22 February.
If you have not submitted the request before the deadline, but need to report an incident that occurred on the test day, please get in touch with the university/universities you have applied to and inform them directly.
