Results Online for Candidates: Locked-out error message

This article contains guidance for BMAT, ELAT, TSA Oxford and STEP candidates who have received the following error message when trying to login to the Results Online for Candidates site: Sorry, you account has been locked due to 3 incorrect attempts. Please try to sign in again after 20 minutes.




If you have attempted to login to the Results Online for Candidates site using an incorrect PIN or password, you may have encountered the following message:




You can take the following steps to resolve this issue:

  • Please wait at least 30 minutes after being denied entry before requesting a new password.
  • Before logging in with your new password press Ctrl + F5 (this will clear you cookies and cache) - alternatively, you can try using a different web browser.

If the issue persists, you can contact the centre where you took the test - your Exams Officer will be able to provide you with a copy of your results.
