Preparing for the test
|How can I prepare for the test?
If you're taking IMAT, you shouldn't need to complete a lot of extra study. The test is designed to measure skills and knowledge that you will be expected to have already. The information and links below should help you to get familiar with the test format however.
IMAT is a 100 minute test (comprising 60 questions) divided into four sections:

If you do not have one of these cards you can get a prepaid card from a bank or a post office. Alternatively, ask your parent, guardian or an adult if they are able to assist you with your payment, but remember that you must ask the bill payer's permission beforehand.
I am unable to complete the payment.
If you are having any problems paying for your IMAT registration, there are a few things you can try:
If your problems persist, you will need to contact your card issuer to ask for their assistance.
How do I request access arrangements?
Test takers requiring access arrangements (such as extra time) should immediately contact the Italian university that is their first choice to request their requirements.
Decisions about access arrangements are made at the discretion of the universities, who will advise Cambridge Assessment Admissions Testing of arrangements that have been agreed.
Centres will be notified in advance of the test day of any candidates who have been granted access arrangements.
