I you require access arrangements when taking STEP, please contact your centre as soon as possible. Exams Officers are responsible for submitting access arrangement requests on your behalf.
Your centre will ask for full details of your disability or special requirements and a copy of your medical evidence.

What access arrangements are available?
Standard access arrangements include extra working time, supervised rest breaks, or enlarged question papers. Other arrangements will be considered on a case-by-case basis, for example a reader, a laptop or Braille papers.
What arrangements can I get with my condition?
If you have been granted access arrangements in your public exams, you may receive the same arrangements for STEP. Please note that each request is reviewed on a case-by-case basis and exceptions might apply.

What is the deadline for requesting access arrangements?
29 March - deadline for requesting modified materials (such as enlarged papers)
10 May, 17:00 UK time - deadline for requesting administrative access arrangements (such as extra time, supervised breaks etc.)
What happens if I miss the deadline?
If you have missed the deadline for requesting access arrangements, ask your Exams Officer to contact us as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to process requests received after the deadline.
